[What 21 appears to be holding is a jar. A jar with an angry little winged creature inside of it, presently making bitey spoon noises. He shakes it and it appears to glow a little brighter, and get more agitated.]

So I don't really see how keeping one of these in a jar is meant to protect me from death if I'm mortally wounded.

Do you think if I left it in there it'd stay once the flood is over or disappear?

I think it'll disappear. But I really don't think it's a good idea to keep it in there so you can find out.
